Prosperous Contract in FFM

Based on the extensive feasibility study, the first improvements have now been made. These include the replacement of the cooling units with new, more powerful ones on the 9th floor, the top floor of the building in the heart of Frankfurt.

The roof sealing was renewed accordingly and the necessary oil pans including the base foundation were manufactured. During the work, the road was extensively closed off.

Thanks to the good planning by our team colleagues on site, the planned commissioning was completed on time despite Corona.

IGP Group develops Weberquartier Steinfurt

The owner-managed project developer is planning residential, assisted living and medical-related uses in the mixed neighbourhood.

The Weberquartier Steinfurt GmbH & Co. KG, which belongs to the IGP Group, has acquired the approx. 25,000 sqm inner-city property “Alte Weberei” in Steinfurt (NRW) and is planning to build a mixed quarter with medically-oriented uses, assisted living and classic owner-occupied and rented apartments together with IGP Projekt GmbH. The exact division of the areas is currently being agreed in partnership with the responsible authorities and politicians in Steinfurt. At the same time, initial cooperation talks are already underway with potential partners from Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia and the whole of Germany. Franken Architekten GmbH from Frankfurt am Main was commissioned for the urban development design.

The aim of the new owner is to create the planning and building rights for this area together and in partnership with the city of Steinfurt, so that a liveable inner-city quarter for living, care and health can be created instead of the long-standing fallow land.

Mainzer Landstraße

We start with a meaningful feasibility study & first cost calculations with the new Frankfurt project. The aim is to convert the 2-storey lounge area of the office building into additional offices. This would create a new gross floor area of almost 1,000m² close to the Frankfurt railway station.

Castle Mickeln

A university, a castle and us – what sounds like good ingredients for a novel is in reality the nice start of a new IGP project:

The Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf has commissioned IGP as general planner for Mickeln Castle in Düsseldorf’s Himmelgeist district.

The university has been using the castle, built in 1840, as a conference centre for several years now. Now it is to be converted into a guest house, which from a building law point of view is a place of accommodation.

More details about the castle can be found on the “Schloss Mickeln” page of the university.

Our West branch participates in the construction of Helios Dr. Ing. Horst Schmidt Hospital in Wiesbaden.
We have taken over the object supervision and project management for the technical building equipment.

The hospital will be expanded by 4 new building blocks, a development clasp plus a heliport.
